Unite to survive eco activity day

“East Dorset Friends of the Earth, Bournemouth & Poole Greenpeace and XR BCP are uniting to survive with a day of fun and educational activities at Gather in The Dolphin.

Artist Marylyn Cropley will present children’s activities based on her picture-book, Planet Earth Needs Our Help.

Greenpeace will give you the chance to draw some weird and wonderful deep sea creatures, inspired by their campaign to stop deep sea mining. You can also sign up to be a #ClimateVoter!

XR BCP are hosting games based on the fragile ecology of an oak tree and the damage being caused to our waterways by sewage pollution. Both games will present these issues in a light, accessible way and there will be prizes!

From 1pm you could also join a fun and collaborative Biodiversity Collage workshop but spaces for this are strictly limited and need to be booked in advance:

Join us for a fun day of eco-activities and meet local green activists, learn more about these organisations and how you can get involved”.
