Earth Day 2021

S.O.S – “Planet Earth Needs Your Help”

My Earth Day Event 2021 is a global creative challenge to schools, children and families, to imagine they are “Universal First Aiders” who have received an SOS distress call from the Planet Earth. They are asked to research the impact of climate change on our planet and its inhabitants and to come up with creative, science-based solutions. Participants are invited to present creative solutions using Art, Music, Storytelling, Poetry, Songs, Drama, Dance, etc. It is non-prescriptive and person-centred, designed to enable a diverse and multi-ethnic, global approach. The challenge continues up to the COP26 in November 2021. The project offers opportunities for public engagement at community events, and work with schools and libraries; this will be my focus for local events in Dorset, UK.
